Hello everyone!

I don’t like it when my blog posts start with, “It’s been a while since my last blog post…” But, it has been a while since my last blog post. So there you are.

Yes, I am still here, photographing your pet dogs and pet cats. In addition to that, I have been photographing the occasional wedding and the occasional family photography session. I have been exploring film again (I was a photography major in college when everything was still film). I have also been exploring other art forms including painting! So life is exciting and good.

During my last pet photography session, which took place on Tennyson in Denver a couple weeks ago, I was just in awe at how much I love it. Your creatures are amazing. Hanging out with them (and you too) is such an honor, a joy, a blessing. I would love to capture more pet portraits for you, and I would love for you to have more pet portraits in your home.

Below are portraits from that Denver Colorado pet photography session. They feature Alfie (one of my favorite dogs ever, and send good vibes out for him!!!), Harlie (another Great Dane!), and Kylie (her hair is amazing in the sun!). Enjoy them…they bring smiles to my face every time I look at them.

The clients wanted an urban feel for their pet session, which is fun since many of my clients are interested in nature shots. There are so many elements to play with on Denver streets and sidewalks–I think they make a great backdrop for a pet session. We kept the dogs on the leash, and stopped photographing as other dogs walked by. But an urban pet photography session is totally a great idea.
