October is Adopt a Dog Month, in an effort to help 3 million+ animals find forever homes.

I adopted THE BEST DOG IN THE WORLD from the Annapolis SPCA in 1999. Chloe changed my world! I am so grateful to the Annapolis SPCA for connecting me with my best girl.

How can you help animals and shelters during Adopt a Dog Month?

1. Adopt a shelter dog! Locally, there are several organizations to adopt a dog from: Boulder Valley Humane, Longmont Humane, the Dumb Friends League.

2. Hold a fundraiser! Fundraise in your pet’s honor. Ask friends to donate $1/day for each pet photo you post on social media. Use special hashtags like #31daysofrescuedogs to bring awareness.
